 In
the Fall of 2011, I took a 2-week trip to Western Turkey on an
"Active Tour" with Intrepid Travel. Other than Istanbul, I
didn't know much about the places I'd be going, and it blew away my
expectations. The people were friendly, the food was fantastic, the sights
were fun and unique, and with this group the company was great. I'd really
like to thank everyone involved, from our guide Salih to the rest of the
group, all the way down to the pomegranate-crushers who made the morning
juice...well, you get the idea. Great trip! Have a look at the slideshow
